The last
part of this section comprises views of the 1902 Coronation by George Rose
of Melbourne, Australia. Rose was an exceptionally skilled and prolific
photographer who covered important events worldwide. The company is still
in existance producing postcards. For an article on the work of Rose in
Korea, plus other information on the photographer, see Stereo World
volume 28, #6. The vibrancy and immediacy of these views, especially
the crowd scenes, is outstanding. The first two views are outside London
but are still of the 1902 Coronation. All these views are cabinet size
(7 by 4 inches) but will view in a normal Holmes viewer.
