The Lakes were (and are) one of the most popular destinations for holidays in England. Widely stereographed, they provide some of the most stunning views available, especially the work of Ogle & Edge. Please note. There are two pages to this section; link to the second at the bottom of this one. The locations are in some kind of order but please run through the two pages as, I'm sure, not all the views are in their relevant positions. Variation in size is due to different scanners. Spellings used are those printed on the view except where I have made typos.
