The Settle - Carlisle Railway
Views of the construction, 1871 to 1873

This collection of views is possibly unique. No other views of the construction of this, England's most spectacular railway, are known to exist and they have caused great interest in railway circles - so much so that they have now been issued commercially on CD-ROM by NVM Digital. To get more information, or to order a copy, please visit their website at www.nvmdigital.com

The history of the Settle-Carlisle is most adequately covered on this  website.
I am offering here the complete collection as illustrated on this page. I am, however, retaining copyright as to do otherwise would complicate the production of the CD-ROM mentioned above.
The price of the collection - all the views illustrated on this page - is $1,500.
