This section should exclude views of Devon but they creep in from time to time. Click here for the main Devon section.

Views of Shropshire and Herefordshire have been removed to the Midlands pages where they fit in better. Please click here for that section.

Views of Bournmouth are  here.

Please also click here for the views of Francis Bedford where you will find many more superb views of the West Country, especially Devon.

Views of the Channel Islands also have a separate section. Please click here.

This is a large group of views - please don't miss the link to the second page at the bottom of this one.

Dotted about on this page are views from the fine photographer Frank Mason Good. Although best known for his 'Eastern Series' Good produced views in England, mostly in London, on the Isle of Wight, and in southwest England. He began his career as a photographic chemist, was in his heyday in the 1860s and 1870s (from when these views are dated), and died at a great age, largely forgotten, in 1928. In recent years his reputation has enjoyed a well-deserved revival. He lived for several years in Hampshire which is why there are several of his views on this page.
