next views bear the blindstamp of Margain of Grenoble. There are notes
on the back in English relating to a visit to the area. Very strange spotted
finish on some similar to Braun views of this period. Most are dated August
1860.

not France but Switzerland. The view was taken from the rue de la Confederation up to
the rue de la Cité in Geneva.
