Excelsior. M.E. Wright of Burnley, England. A quirky publisher who, nevertheless managed a wide circulation in the UK and the US. Purchased many of his negs fom other publishers but also produced a lot of his own views. Some of his Egypt and middle-eastern views are proved to have been taken in the studio with his family dressed in sheets and striped towels! As far as I know there are no cardboard mountains here. One other problem with his views- he was pretty mean and didn't like throwing the fixer away so much of his production is either light or faded. Well worth trying a couple for a refreshingly different slant.

'The Mirror, Lake Zug'. This is typical of Wright. Looks nothing but is a little gem. A delight to view.
